In this first post of our BUY LOCAL series, we bring you a collaboration between the Bluenose II Company Store, the Tea Brewery, and local artist Janet Mason.
The Tea Brewery, located in Mahone Bay, is a micro-blender of artisan teas. They pride themselves on combining highly skilled tea artisans, superior quality ingredients and small-batch processing to deliver an all-around wonderful sensory experience.
Each tin is labelled with stunning work from local artist Janet Mason. Janet Mason was born and raised in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Her paintings capture the essence of the flora, landscapes and seascapes of Nova Scotia.
We carry four flavours of tea:
Lavender Cream Earl Grey - A blend of black tea, lavender, cornflower petals and natural flavours.
Peppermint Blush - A blend of Rooibos, peppermint and rose petals.
Urban Apricot - A blend of green tea, ginger root, safflower petals and natural flavouring.
Tranquility Bay - A blend of Liquorice root, peppermint and rose hips.
