The Sea got in Your Blood DVD
This National Film Board of Canada release features life at sea and the people who sailed it along the Atlantic 'Bluenose' coast. You will learn about William Roue who designed the first Bluenose schooner (on the Canadian dime) and Captain Angus Walters who skippered the original Bluenose from 1921-1938. The Bluenose took to the waters competing in the International Fisherman's Race on October 6, 1921, and Walters led Bluenose to victory, undefeated 17 years in a row (the trophy now on exhibit at the Lunenburg Fisheries Museum).
